A Toddler's Journey" : Exploring the Outdoors and Learning at KVK
Prudence International School, ever since its inception has always tried to provide students with tangible experiences. Field trips make learning more engaging, memorable, and relevant.
Keeping all these in mind, the children of Prudence went on a fascinating field trip to Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and the Nature Walk, on 14 th June 2024. This trip was enlightening and brought youngsters closer to the natural world, in addition to being a welcome diversion from their daily grind. The Nature Stroll, a peaceful path winding through lush foliage, was their first destination. Under the guidance of an experienced naturalist, the children explored different plant species and learnt their functions in maintaining the ecosystem. There were several breathtaking moments during the stroll as they saw many creatures, insects, and birds in their own environment. The dragon fruit garden, was an amazing place where the children saw a variety of dragon fruits. The excitement of the children knew no bounds. Students had fun with the square foot gardening.
This field trip provided a wealth of educational opportunities. It improved their understanding of protecting the environment. Overall, the students had a fun filled educational excursion to Krishi Vigyan Kendra and the Nature Walk, which deepened their understanding the natural world. Learning outside of the classroom and making connections with the natural world made for a wonderful day.
