Cherishing Krishna's Tales: A Delightful Janmashtami Celebration by Our Youngest Learners!"
Janmashtami is not just a festival, it is a celebration of the values, that Lord Krishna represents. His life is a testament to the power of righteousness, compassion and devotion. On August 24, 2024, Prudence International residential school celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Administrative Officer, Mr. Vijay Kumar V. Kulkarni, and Principal, Ms. Subarna Chatterjee, along with the Secretary of the School Mr. P. Rudresh Kumar and Director Ms. Roopa Rudresh.
Montessori students participated in various cultural programs that beautifully depicted the life of Lord Krishna. The performances showcased significant aspects of Krishna's life, including scenes from his birthplace, Vrindavan, Goshala, and the famous Govardhan Giri. The young students thoroughly enjoyed playing the roles of Lord Krishna and his mother, Yashoda.
In addition to the cultural programs, several competitions were organized for the parents. Parents of M1 students participated in a Fancy Dress Competition, while M2 parents took part in decorating images of Lord Krishna. M3 parents showcased their creativity in pot decoration, as well as crown and flute making competitions.
The event was a delightful experience for both students and parents, bringing the stories of Lord Krishna to life and fostering a sense of community and celebration.
