Rakhi Making and Greeting Card Making Activity
Grade 3-5 Students Celebrate Rakhi Making As part of the Friday CCC program, Grades 3, 4, and 5 students enthusiastically participated in a Rakhi making activity, while Grades 6 and 7 created greeting cards for their teachers in celebration of Teachers' Day. Prior to the event, students were asked to bring necessary materials to create their unique Rakhis and greeting cards.
Unleashing Creativity
With materials in hand, students' creativity flourished as they designed and crafted Rakhis in various patterns and designs, showcasing their innovative ideas. Similarly, Grade 6 and 7 students used the 3H approach (Head, Heart, Hand) to create heartfelt greeting cards for their teachers.
Tying Rakhis and Strengthening Bonds
After creating their Rakhis, students tied them to the wrists of their classmates, wishing each other protection, success, and goodwill, fostering a sense of brotherhood and camaraderie. Grade 6 and 7 students were thrilled to present their handmade greeting cards to their teachers, expressing their appreciation and gratitude.
Objectives Achieved
The Rakhi making and greeting card making activities provided a platform for students to:
