"Confidence Unleashed: Pick and Speak, Elocution and Panel Discussion at Prudence"
The inter - house competition was organized on July 21 St 2023 for students of Classes 6, 7, and 8. The event aimed to provide students with a platform to showcase their oratory skills, critical thinking abilities, and team collaboration. The competition comprised three segments: "Pick and Speak," "Elocution," and "Panel Discussion." The participants were excited and enthusiastic, making the event a resounding success.
Pick and Speak:
The competition started with the "Pick and Speak" segment, where each participant had to choose a random topic and speak about it impromptu for two minutes. The topics were diverse, ranging from environmental issues, historical events, favourite hobbies, and thought-provoking quotes. The students displayed remarkable spontaneity and confidence while expressing their thoughts.
Elocution:
Next came the "Elocution" round, which tested the students' ability to deliver prepared speeches effectively. The participants had the freedom to select their topics in advance and were given three minutes each to present their speeches. They covered a wide array of topics such as

3. The importance of conservation of water.
4. The importance of Volunteer work.
Panel Discussion:
The final segment was the "Panel Discussion," where participants engaged in a
constructive debate on a given topic. The panelists were divided into groups of
four, with each group having one representative from each house. The topics were
thought-provoking and relevant to the present-day challenges faced by society.
The discussions centered around topics like "Youth and Social Responsibility,"

Conclusion
