Investiture Ceremony
The investiture ceremony at Prudence International School was a momentous event that marked the formal inauguration of the newly elected student council for the academic year 2024 -2025. The ceremony, held on 24 th June, 2024 was graced by Col. Gurmit Singh Gujral, the Commanding Officer of 4 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Tumakuru, the school Administrator, the Principal, teachers, students, and proud parents.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Col. Gurmit Singh Gujral and other dignitaries symbolising the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by a soulful rendition of the school anthem, which set the tone for the proceedings.
The Administrator, Mr. Vijaykumar V Kulkarni welcomed the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring speech, emphasising the importance of leadership and responsibility. He congratulated the newly elected members and encouraged them to uphold the values of the school and lead by example.
The Secretary of the School Mr. P. Rudresh Kumar in his address spoke about the importance of being impartial as a leader while carrying out the responsibilities. He also stressed on the importance of creating more leaders for the future. The Chief Guest in his speech focused on co- curricular activities and how these activities enhance a student’s academic development and performance. He also spoke about integrity which is a cornerstone of trust in leadership.
The highlight of the ceremony was the formal investiture, where the school badges and sashes were bestowed upon the newly elected President, Vice President, Sports Captain, House Captains and Vice Captains The students took the oath of office, pledging to perform their duties with integrity and dedication. The oath was administered by the Chief Guest and the Principal, Ms. Subarna Chatterjee.
Each council member was cheered and applauded by one and all. The student Vice President, on behalf of the entire Council delivered acceptance speech, expressing gratitude and outlining their vision for the year ahead.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved in making the event a success. The National Anthem was sung with great enthusiasm, marking the end of a memorable and inspiring ceremony.
