78th Independence Day Celebration at PIRS, Tumakuru

To mark the glory of completing 78 years of independence, Prudence International School, Tumakuru, organised a grand celebration on its campus on 15th August 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The programme was meticulously planned, with enthusiastic participation from all students and teachers, who showcased their patriotism throughout the event.

The programme was graced by the Honourable Chief Guest Mr. Renukappa, Administrator Mr. Vijay Kulkarni, and Principal Ms. Subarna Chatterjee. Their presence lent dignity to the occasion and set a positive tone for the day’s proceedings.

The event began with a spirited performance by the school’s band, followed by the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest. All gathered members then joined together to sing the national anthem with great pride. The four school houses —Coral, Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire—presented a synchronized march-past, which was met with loud applause.

The dignitaries then addressed the gathering with inspiring words, instilling patriotism and responsibility in the young minds. Selected students from the PIRS community also delivered short speeches expressing their love for the nation.

The cultural segment of the programme included a melodious performance by the school’s music band and a graceful dance presentation by the little “daffodils” of the school, adding vibrancy and charm to the celebration.

As the event drew to a close, a palpable sense of pride and satisfaction filled the atmosphere. The faces of students, teachers, and parents reflected the joy of celebrating the pinnacle of patriotism. The distribution of sweets added to the happiness of the day, making everyone feel proud to be a part of independent India.

The celebration concluded on a high note, leaving behind memories of unity, joy, and national pride—truly making the programme a resounding success.
