Experience the blissful union of body and mind on Yoga Day
The day holds immense significance as it promotes physical and mental well-being through the practice of yoga. Our school organized a series of events and activities to mark this special occasion.
Yoga Session: On the International Day of Yoga, the children from three levels: Primary Pioneers, Middle Matters, and High School Hustle assembled in the playground early in the morning. We invited a certified yoga instructor, Dr. Nagaraj Rao. M. K, who conducted a collective yoga session for all students, teachers and staff. The session included a blend of asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques. The participants found the session highly rejuvenating and therapeutic.
Special Assembly: A special assembly was organized to celebrate Yoga Day. Students from different classes prepared and delivered speeches on the benefits of yoga, sharing their personal experiences and insights.
Overall, the International Day of Yoga celebration in our school was a grand success. It not only educated students about the numerous benefits of yoga but also instilled in them a sense of mindfulness and overall wellness. The active involvement of teachers, staff, and the community added to the success of the event.
