CBSE Skill Expo and Career Guidance Festival 2026–27

The CBSE Skill Expo and Career Guidance Festival 2026–27 was successfully hosted by Prudence International Residential School and PU College, Tumkur, to promote skill-based education, innovation, and career awareness in alignment with NEP 2020 and CBSE initiatives. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 35 CBSE schools in the Skill Expo and 45 CBSE schools in the Career Guidance Festival.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mrs. Subarna Chatterjee, Principal, PIRS. The inaugural address was delivered virtually by Dr. BiswajitSaha, Director, Department of Skill Education, CBSE, who emphasized the integration of practical skills with academics. Mr. Sandeep Jain, Head, CBSE CoE Bengaluru, and Mr. Moses Kotike, Program Manager, GITAM, guided students on skill development and higher education opportunities.

The Skill Expo showcased innovative student projects, models, and creative ideas, reflecting practical learning and vocational competencies. Sessions on mental well-being, innovation, and future-ready skills were conducted by Ms. B. Gayathri, Mr. Makena VenkataMaheshwaraPatrudu, and Ms. Sneha Rai.

The event was further enriched by the presence of esteemed judges, Mr. PramodChinnapla and Mr. Niranjanaradhya, whose valuable insights and encouragement inspired the participants.

The management and staff of Prudence International Residential School and PU College ensured the smooth conduct of the programme and extended warm hospitality to all the participants and guests.
