Overview
In alignment with the directives of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Prudence
International Residential School organised a Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for its teaching staff
across three sessions held on 16th, 22nd, and 23rd May 2026. The programme was conducted at the SP
Auditorium and aimed at empowering teachers with contemporary pedagogical insights, equipping
them to better address the evolving needs of their students.
Workshop Topics
The programme encompassed two significant themes as prescribed by CBSE:
•Mental Health: This workshop focused on building awareness and sensitivity around student mental
well-being. Teachers were equipped with strategies to identify signs of emotional distress, create a
supportive classroom environment, and foster positive mental health practices among students.
•Critical and Creative Thinking: This session explored innovative teaching approaches to nurture
higher-order thinking skills in students. Teachers were introduced to practical tools and techniques to
encourage inquiry, problem-solving, and creative expression in the classroom.
Resource Persons
The workshops were facilitated by distinguished resource persons who are experts in their respective
fields. Their in-depth knowledge, practical experience, and interactive approach made the sessions
highly engaging and enriching. The resource persons employed a variety of instructional
methodologies including presentations, case studies, group discussions, and hands-on activities,
ensuring active participation and meaningful learning for all attending teachers.
Outcome & Certification
The Capacity Building Programme was received with great enthusiasm by the participating teachers.
